See You on the Other Side of Vacation!
As some of you know, or figured out by my typos/misspells in the posts, that I am not originally from the US. Yes, I do have an accent, and sometimes people start speaking Spanish to me, even when I had the lightest blond hair possible. I am proud of where I came from, where I ended up, and pretty much about my whole life. It’s a good life! You can’t have a bad life having TWO homelands, which you love equally, but differently…
In a couple of days, I am going to visit my Motherland to meet with my comrades again 🙂 I usually say that I am from Russia because most of the people do know where it is. But actually I am from Ukraine, which is a former republic of the former USSR. Lots of former here.
I can write forever about how beautiful my country is and in the end you will agree – it is beautiful. But it is better to see one time than 100 times to hear about it. So, here it is, introducing to you: Crimea, (the most southern part of Ukraine), my Motherland!
P.S. These photos were taken 2 and 4 years ago, during my trips back home. I’ll have more when I am back 🙂
