This post is about someone very close to my heart. He is brilliant young man, I’ve watched him growing in front of my eyes since he was born. He is my (and not only my) pride, heart, soul. I practiced my parenting skills on him before I dreamed of being a parent and polished my pedagogical skills on him when I was a teacher. 🙂 Hopefully neither one of those damaged him too much 😛
Let me introduce to you my handsome, brilliant and very hard working son (even though he is my nephew) Yan.
His graduation from the Oviedo high school was yesterday (again I was practicing crying for graduation of my own kids in 10 years! Actually really tearing up, not practicing 😛 ). Oh how proud we were (all 5 of us, cheering for him in loud Russian/English) when our baby stepped on stage of the UCF arena to get his diploma!
Now, while you are stepping into the adulthood, I wish you to keep setting up a great example for my own kids. They already look up to you! Keep it up, son!
